Therco Serck recently completed the design, manufacture and testing of Reactor Effluent Exchanger bundles and floating heads at its Sheffield facility.
Following testing, and in collaboration with KUE Group, a client-specified SÄKAPHEN® Si 57® E corrosion-resistant coating was applied to the tube side of both TEMA AES 1260-3658 bundles.
The heat-cured coating offers hydrophobic performance comparable to resin-bond PTFE systems, helping protect against fouling, incrustation and corrosion.
For the client, the result is improved product life expectancy, longer intervals between plant interventions and a stronger return on investment.
